Apulia
Apulia is the easternmost region of Italy. Gargano and Salento areas are famous for their wonderful beaches and turquoise water. But Apulia is actually much more. Inhabitated by ancient populations since prehistoric times, it is rich in archeological finds. Art cities and numerous towns among the most beautiful of Italy dot the territory. The landscape is enhanced by the testimonies of rural architecture such as the farms and trulli of the Valle d’Itria. Natural parks, marine reserves, pilgrimage routes and cycling paths enrich the outdoor experiences. The wine and olive oil routes complete the tourist offer of the region.
